Berkano Berkana Rune Sterling Silver Pendant - Elder Futhark Runes

A rune of healing, a rune of renewal. Associated with the birch, a fast-growing and hardy tree, Berkano is rebirth and starting over. Berkano is also the caregiver in a family, and represents the love and hard work that goes into the role. Berkano is a mothering rune, tied to Berchta, the Norse earth goddess who cares for mothers and children, especially those who have been cast aside. Berkano is also associated with Nerthus, the original Nordic earth mother.

Crafted of sterling silver wire, this pendant is lightweight, suited to a thin chain. Planished to an extraordinary shine, this pendant will become your new favorite. Each pendant is handmade to order and as a result each will be slightly different. These differences are not mistakes but marks of unique status.

This pendant does not come with a chain, but I do offer chains for purchase in my shop. The style of chain you see in the photograph is one style of chain that is for purchase. It is a 1mm sterling silver double rope chain, available in 16" and 18" lengths.
